WHAT THEY SAID AFTER THE COURSE....
Your knowledge and delivery is like a comfort blanket around a subject that many find hugely scary. For me, it’s changed my perception about death by way of feeling I can understand and accept it better, not only for those I’ve lost and how I’ve struggled with that loss, but also for helping others going through this process.
I find it so fascinating, in fact, more than fascinating! Your way of teaching is perfect. Your knowledge and life experience is second to none, I’m privileged to be learning from you.
Who knew talking about death could be so inspiring and life affirming?! I found the whole session so comforting and reassuring. This really should be something everyone attends for support in life as well as death. I feel a lot less scared and a lot more empowered. I can't thank you enough Katie.

"I attended Katie’s 4 stages of dying workshop and I can’t recommend it enough!! It took away the fear of what has become somewhat of a taboo topic and opened my eyes, my mind and my heart to the process and to those who work in palliative care. After the course I bought the books which were recommended and have started having discussions with family and friends about death and dying. The course has even informed my work as an interpreter where we tend to make softer or gentler lexical choices, such as ‘passing’ ‘passed’ etc and come back to using the words that some people avoid using such as ‘Death’ and ‘Dying’, because by not using them, it instils a sense of fear, when there’s no need to have fear.
Anyway, I’ve gone on a bit, but it’s ‘dead’ good - the best £30 you’ll ever spend!!"
