TLC - Tender loving Care - End of Life Workshop September 2023

TLC offers people the skills, knowledge and confidence to support the dying and includes practical skills and a deeper understanding of the dying process 🦋 Whether you work in care, are looking after a loved one or simply feel a call to this type of work, it is a hugely valuable and enriching journey for all. It can help alleviate fears, empower those who care for people at the end of their lives and provide emotional and holistic support for the dying and their carers. This is ideal for all walks of life and people of all faiths 🕉

TLC - Tender Loving Care - for the dying is designed by Soul Midwives as a course that is available, and understandable, for EVERYONE

We talk about and delve into the following....

-Deep Listening and Gentle Touch with the dying and their loved ones

-How to hold a loving Bedside Vigil, what we can do and how we can help the dying person and their families. We look at how we can create a calming and approproate environement wherever a person is

-The 4 Stages of Dying. This is a hugely valuable way of understand the dying process from a physical and emotional point of view and how we can support someone during each stage. This is a very human way of looking at death and understanding what it actually can look like

All you will need is access to Zoom, a quiet space with no distractions and an open heart. There will be tea breaks, lunch and a short debrief at the end to close the day. All handouts will be emailed after the training along with a certificate of attendance.

There will be an opportunity to share if you wish, ask questions to myself and each other and engage in a confidential, safe and loving space.

This award winning training is recognised by the GSF (Gold standard framework), is being trained to nursing staff in several NHS trusts and is also supported and funded by Public Health and CCG (Clinical Commissioning Groups) in several areas in the country ⭐️

I absolutely love training and really enjoy connecting with people on this path. TLC workshops and the online modules are designed by Soul Midwives and are only to be taught by a fully qualified, insured Soul Midwife supported by The Soul Midwives school.

In the event of the courses having to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances that are out of my control, in the first instance your payments will be transferred to the next available course date. If this is not possible then a full refund will be given.
